WHAT: Due to popular demand following their successful Taste of China series in 2009, Koi in Evanston and Chens in Wrigleyville are excited to announce the launch of their Chinatown Menu. Featuring more traditional Chinese family recipes from various regions of China, Koi and Chens now bring to Evanston and Wrigleyville dishes that are typically only available in Chinatown.
The menu, available for dine-in, carryout and delivery, features exciting new dishes like Shanghai Ponzu Red Snapper: a crispy whole Red Snapper in a black vinegar ponzu sauce; Sliced Beef or Sole Filet in spicy broth: tender Sliced Beef or Sole Filet with napa cabbage in a Szechwan hot pepper and peppercorn bean sauce broth – a very spicy dish that cannot be prepared mild; and Vegetarian Eight Treasures: stir-fried wood ear mushrooms and dried bean curd with mushrooms, peapods, sweet red peppers, napa cabbage, bok choy, and lotus root, in a light white wine sauce.
Complete menu is available upon request.
