Duke’s April Events

Guests can celebrate spring at Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen with great specials and events running all month long.  From comedy nights, live jazz and karaoke to Green Drinks networking opportunities and Beer School 101, Duke’s is the Crystal Lake entertainment headquarters.  Duke’s featured event this April is their Third Annual Undead Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 4 (see details below).  

*Must be 21 or older to attend after 10:00 PM.

Duke’s Third Annual Undead Easter Celebration
Sunday, April 4 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen presents their Third Annual Undead Easter Celebration.  From 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, guests will enjoy FREE chef’s choice food selections (while supplies last) and an all day zombie movie marathon.  After the movie credits have rolled, guests will take the stage at 9:00 PM for Duke’s karaoke.

Green Drinks
Wednesday, April 7 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Guests will enjoy Duke’s signature “Hairy Astor” cocktail (VeeV Açaí Spirit, fresh limes, local honey, local mint and soda water).  $1 from every “Hairy Astor” will benefit McHenry County Conservation District.  In addition, guests who purchase this signature drink will have a tree planted in their honor.  Drinks will be paired with complimentary small bites.

Beer School 101
Wednesday, April 14 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Guests are invited to become beer connoisseurs and learn the ins and outs of the frothy stuff at Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen’s monthly Beer 101 School.  This April, guests will enjoy a variety of Belgium beers.  Featured beers include Wittekerke (Witbier, Belgium Pale Ale), Delirium Tremens (Belgium Strong Pale Ale), and Saxo (Belgium Strong Pale Ale).  Beer drinkers will enjoy Duke’s Steamed Mussels, Frites and a variety of other small bites.
$35 per person, $5 discount for card-carrying members of the American Homebrewer’s Association
