WHAT: LUXBAR’s LuxLounge will host an exciting class to kick off and celebrate three classic cocktails of the season: the mojito, margarita and sangria. Participants will learn via hands-on instruction, the history and perfect preparations for these signature summer spirits while munching on savory Luxbar appetizers, including a selection of Luxbar Sliders, Quesadillas, and house-made Guacamole and Chips.
Class will be lead by Peter Vestinos, an award-winning mixologist who currently serves as the Beverage Development Director for Wirtz Beverage Group’s national portfolio of wine, spirit and beer distributorships. Vestinos has developed cocktail programs for such prestigious Chicago locations as Naha, Bar Novo at the Renaissance, Nomi at the Park Hyatt, Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, The Roof at the Wit, Elate at the Hotel Felix and most recently opened Chicago’s newest craft cocktail lounge, The Exchange.
