On Thursday, May 20, guests can kick off summer on the patio at Meson Sabika with a Tapas and Sangria Tasting benefitting not-for-profit organization, Upendo Village in Kenya.
The Sangria Tasting will feature a selection of flavored Sangria including: peach, pomegranate, mango and apple sparkling sangrias. As guests enjoy tapas and sangria, women from the Rotary Club of Naperville will be on site showcasing beautiful handcrafted jewelry of the Upendo villagers. One-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets, earrings, scarves, bags and rosaries will be available for purchase. Proceeds from this event will help to build a village of love and hope for women and their children living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya.
Meson Sabika’s outdoor area is adorned with flowers throughout the brick patio. A magnificent magnolia tree shades a portion of the seating for up to 200. An outdoor bar makes it one of the hottest outdoor spots in the suburbs. Patio hours are the same as the restaurant.
WHEN: Thursday, May 20 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
COST: $20 per person includes samples of sangria and small bites.
100% of the proceeds will go to Upendo Village (Kenya).
