Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza Opening Soon

A Slice of Heaven in Schaumburg

Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza announces a high-energy dining experience in the former Alumni Club space in Schaumburg.  The destination at 871 E. Algonquin Rd, also formerly The Snuggery in 1981, has been a long-running Chicagoland favorite for the past two decades.  Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza will begin serving hungry locals with a fun, casual style of service offering world-class specialty pizzas, panini and wraps, prime burgers, unique organic salads and a large array of appetizers, all at prices that are easy on the wallet.

Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza has been brought to life with a whirlwind makeover accompanied by new sound, lighting and stage for DJs, bands and endless entertainment options in an exciting weekly line-up.  There are separate dining rooms for large groups, families and young adults as well as a unique high-energy area for sports viewing and late-night partying.  The décor exudes a colorful, psychedelic appeal with the walls covered in unique memorabilia from the 1960’s to 1990’s, including an eccentric collection of music, entertainment and sports memorabilia.  There is ample, free parking and accommodations for private parties, including a glassed-in “skybox” with fireplace, overlooking the restaurant and grounds.

Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza will offer dine-in, carry out and curbside pick-up for those late night cravings and two beautiful private party spaces for any occasion.  This 15,000 square foot, group-friendly, casual dining establishment will accommodate up to 750 people in the dining room and bar area.

AWARD-WINNING OUTDOOR SPACE

Mad Mark’s also boasts the largest outdoor dining and drinking patio in Chicagoland, seating over 350 people and overlooking a pond and acres of manicured parkland.  The outdoor entertainment complex has been given a complete remodel and also features a sand volleyball court, six professional Bagz courts, a basketball court and an outdoor bar and grill perfect for dining or cocktailing alfresco.  The space was previously heralded as the “Best Sports Bar” three years in a row in a Chicago Tribune Readers Poll and “Best Beer Garden” in 2007 and 2008 by Suburban Nitelife, and Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza is looking to continue this coveted trend for its existing audience, while redefining the dining experience for a whole new market.

HOT SPOT FOR SPORTS
Mad Mark’s Mystic Pizza will be a hot spot for watching sports, equipped with over thirty 50”-63” HD plasma TVs and stadium surround sound.  Guests can request a “Fan Can” (personal tabletop speaker) to listen to their game of choice right at their table.  Mad Mark’s has the latest in high tech toys for free play in between the action: Golden Tee Golf, Silver Strike Bowling and Bar-top games.  In addition, free Wi-Fi will be accessible to all customers, as well.
