Carnivale World Cup Cocktails
Staring Friday, June 11
Carnivale, a destination for Chicagoans to experience the culture and cuisine of Latin America, celebrates the World Cup starting Friday, June 11 with an exotic range of cocktails from participating countries.  Guests can view televised games in Carnivale’s lounge while sipping cocktails of the World Cup.  Cocktails include the seasonal special Strawberry Caipirinha from Brazil featuring Michigan strawberries ($9.75) along with Carnivale favorites like Sangria (Spain), Margaritas (Mexico), Vino Verde (Portugal) and more.

Luxbar World Cup Buckets

$30 World Cup Beer Bucket Special
Luxbar will celebrate the World Cup with a special International World Cup Bucket, available Friday, June 11 throughout the duration of the 2010 World Cup.  The World Cup Bucket includes a bottle each of Miller Lite (USA), Hacker Pschorr (GER), Corona (MEX), Heineken (NLD), Bass (England), and Peroni (ITA) for $30 per bucket (excludes tax and gratuity).  Chicagoans are invited to make Luxbar their World Cup headquarters where they can watch televised games during brunch, lunch and dinner service (see hours below).

Quartino Wines of the World Cup

$7 – $12 quartino/glass; $21 – $36 bottle
Quartino celebrates the 2010 World Cup in true Italian fashion: with wines of the world.  Chicagoans are invited to view ALL World Cup games–that’s right, Quartino will air all games that are played during business hours—while sipping on wines from France, Argentina, Germany, South Africa, Greece, Italy, Australia, the USA and of course, Italy.  The price will range from $7 a quartino/glass and $21 a bottle to $12 a quartino/glass and $36 a bottle.

Stretch Run World Cup Headquarters

$4.50 Heineken Bottles & $22.50 Heineken Light Buckets
Guests can catch the World Cup action on Stretch Run’s 240 TVs as they show several of the games during this coveted tournament.  Stretch Run will also offer guests the option to sit in a designated World Cup Room located on the first floor which seats 40 people and is equipped with 12 TVs and a Projection TV.  Game day specials include Heineken bottles for $4.50 and Heineken Light Buckets for $22.50.
