Vital Juice Launches in Chicago

Windy City women have an important new resource with the rollout of Vital Juice Chicago  – the free daily email newsletter will begin covering the city’s health and wellness scene on June 16.

Each weekday morning Vital Juice Chicago subscribers will get one short, timely story on the personalities, businesses, events and more that contribute to the city’s healthy scene – and the tips are delivered straight to their inboxes.  It is free to subscribe at

“We hope to provide Chicagoans with the most relevant and actionable recommendations, information, tips and trends in fitness, nutrition, beauty and wellness,” explained Vital Juice Co-Founder Amanda Freeman.

“We see an increased interest in healthy living throughout the Chicago area,” added Co-Founder Lisa Blau, “and we’re here to respond to that demand– Vital Juice Chicago is a roadmap to wellness within this community, this city.”

Vital Juice has pegged Chicago-area wellness writer Maya Henderson as editor of its new edition.  Henderson, who has written for Time Out Chicago, Chicago Sun-Times and ChicagoNow, says she is excited about her new post and predicts that many Chicagoans will “quickly become addicted” to the daily emails.

“There’s finally a way for Chicago’s health and fitness community to find out about the best classes, workouts, holistic spa treatments and healthy events five days a week,” she said. “I couldn’t be more excited to share the latest and greatest in this city with our readers.”

Vital Juice Chicago joins the e-publication’s four existing editions: Everywhere (national), New York, Los Angeles and Moms.  Founded by Lisa Blau and Amanda Freeman in 2007 as a free, go-to resource for women focused on leading healthy lives, the company is online at
