“Students” Learn the Ins and Outs of the Brazilian Libation
This August, the Carnivale University summer semester will continue with Caipirinhas 101. Carnivale’s Sommelier, Elizabeth Mendez, will lead this hands-on class featuring unique caipirinha recipes from Carnivale’s signature cocktail menu.
Participants will learn the history of this classic Brazilian cocktail while creating and sampling perfectly mixed caipirinhas paired with appetizers prepared by Executive Chef
David Dworshak. Students will create two caipirinhas including the original recipe made with cachaca rum and a unique seasonal caipirinha with blueberries
