About Kinnikinnick Farm
Kinnikinnick Farm is an established, certified, organic farm that sells produce directly to Chicago chefs and farmers market customers. The farm grows a wide variety of greens, heirloom tomatoes, root crops, and seasonal vegetables starting with asparagus and snap peas in the Spring and ending with butternut squash and sun-chokes in the Fall. They are particularly fond of Italian varieties and many of their seeds come from small seed companies in Italy. You can find them every Wednesday in Chicago at the Green City Market and every Saturday at the Evanston Farmers Market.
About Three Sisters Garden
Three Sisters Garden is a very small, sustainably-minded farm just south of Chicago, owned by former Topolobampo chef Tracey Vowell and her partner Kathe Roybal. After ten seasons of raising and selling their product exclusively to Chicago restaurants, Three Sisters has branched out into market sales, appearing on Saturdays at Chicago’s Green City Market.
