La Madia Midsummer Menu

La Madia announces a new midsummer menu with local, fresh ingredients incorporating deeply flavorful elements.  Guests can enjoy updated versions of Executive Chef and Owner Jonathan Fox’s seasonal dishes throughout the warmer months on the patio or in the open lounge area along with paired global wines (more than 270 labels), expertly crafted cocktails and unique beers.

La Madia will offer fresh vegetarian options, including Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta ($7) and Tagliatelle with Heirloom Tomatoes (house-made tagliatelle that feature the brightness and juicy acidity of local, heirloom tomatoes; $13). Also, a new vegan starter of Tender Ceci Beans, Broccoli Rabe, Crostini and Lemon-GarlicVinaigrette (Dinner only; $7)

Just in time for the sultry August weather, La Madia introduces a cooling Poached Shrimp Salad with Shaved Vegetables (tender poached shrimp, crisp shaved fennel, radish, carrot, cucumber, and frisee in an a truffled vinaigrette; Lunch: $12 and Dinner: $9 without shrimp).  Fox will also serve a new Clam Pizza (white clams with fresno chilies, finished with lightly pickled cucumbers; $15).

La Madia also unveils their Market Risotto, which will change daily, made with ingredients from the market including vegetables, shellfish, and more (Dinner only; $15).

Other additions to the menu include: Pappardelle with Chicken Ragu paired with a rich and velvety sauce, vegetables and house-made pasta (Dinner only; $16), Pan-Roasted Rushing Waters Trout (trout raised in artesian springs atop a tangle of sweet corn, leeks, and tender green beans; $15), and also a deeply-flavored vegetable soffritto with Seared Red Grouper (Dinner only; $19).

The midsummer menu is consistent with the philosophy behind La Madia: seasonal, quality selections in a warm, welcoming environment.  Jonathan Fox’s new menu highlights his simple approach to quality and service that gives guests a fresh, bold experience every time.
