Construction scheduled to begin this week
EDINA, Minn. (August 10, 2010) – Pinstripes, Inc. announces it has signed a lease with Centennial Shops with the intent to begin construction on the interior finish-out this week. Positioned adjacent to The Container Store, Pinstripes will occupy 32,000 square feet of space on the first and second floors and is anticipating a November 2010 opening.
Upon opening, this will be the third location for Pinstripes with other locations in Northbrook, Ill., the flagship location that opened in May 2007, and South Barrington, Ill. Pinstripes offers a unique dining and entertainment experience featuring Italian and American cuisine combined with bowling and bocce. The indoor/outdoor Centennial Shops location will include 16 bowling lanes, 6 bocce courts, an Italian/American bistro, wine cellar, and event space accommodating 20 to 600 people.
“Centennial Shops is a first-class development well-suited for our sophisticated entertainment venue,” said Dale Schwartz, Pinstripes founder and CEO. “We look forward to introducing ‘strikingly good food and fun’ to the City of Edina and the surrounding communities.”
“We enthusiastically welcome Pinstripes to the Centennial Lakes neighborhood,” said Edina Mayor James Hovland. “We are very pleased about Edina being the first expansion location for Pinstripes outside the state of Illinois. We think they will be a special asset for our community and we look forward to the opening of their business in the very near future.”
Pinstripes will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and currently is taking reservations for private events and parties. In celebration of its opening, Pinstripes is sponsoring a Grand Opening Community Art Contest where much of the artwork featured in the venue will be by local artists.
