Chevy Chase Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course in north suburban Wheeling, will host a Celebrity Charity Golf Challenge with David Kaplan of WGN Radio, Comcast SportsNet and the Chicago Tribune. The tournament will benefit the Wheeling Park District ME Campaign, which provides program scholarships to Wheeling residents in need.
Novice golfers and seasoned pros alike will have the chance to “Beat the Kap” during this good-natured competition. Guests can sign up to golf any day from Wednesday, September 15 through Friday, October 15 to try to beat David Kaplan’s golf score. Registrants will pay standard golf fees plus make a $5 donation to the ME Campaign. All participants will receive $5 off of their next round of golf and be entered into a raffle for prizes including complimentary golf for two at Chevy Chase Golf Club and GO ROMA gift certificates.
Any golfer who was able to “Beat the Kap” will be entered into a special raffle drawing for a chance to play as part of a foursome with David Kaplan at Chevy Chase Golf Club, as well as the exciting Grand Prize: a three-night stay for two at Caesars Palace and a round of golf at Rio Secco in Las Vegas.
