Excalibur, in partnership legendary House Music Queen and party diva Rachael Cain aka “Screamin’ Rachael” and her label Trax Records, is excited to announce Trax: The Legend Returns, a monthly celebration of the good old days the last Friday of every month at Excalibur, sponsored by www.remixgalery.com.
The monthly party series kicks off on Friday, November 26 from 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM featuring an open bar from 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Chicagoans and visitors are invited to dance off all that turkey at the opening night extravaganza. The evening is presented by Screamin’ Rachael, who will perform several of her club hits and celebrate a pre-release party for Trax Records 25th Anniversary CD, “I Love Chicago House,” with a screening of Rachael’s acclaimed documentary, “The House That Trax Built,” and a presentation of rare footage from NYC club parties. The first 200 guests will receive a 2GB Flash drives and complementary CD from Trax Records sponsor www.remixgalaxy.com.
The evening will also feature celebrity guest host Allen Rafalson, President of The Chicago Journalists Association, a special Hip Hop performance featuring B-Boy Jay Funky from Columbia College’s “Asian Arts,” direct from The World Expo in China, and a fashion presentation of the hottest club looks for the holiday season by designer to the stars “Michael White” whose clients include Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, and many others. The DJ International Network and Trax TV will be on hand to catch all the action, so creative dress, and fashionable attire are recommended. “Trax Records has been my international VIP calling card to glamorous events and chic clubs around the world,” says Cain. “Our aim for final Fridays, is to give people a taste of the ultimate clubbing experience, hearkening back to those great nights when it was all about the crowd and pulsing House Music. People watching was de rigueur, and we all finally had a reason to dress up and celebrate,” remarks Cain.
