Opening May 2011 in the South Loop, The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen will be an upscale tavern and sports bar featuring a Classic American menu with a twist. Menu highlights will include burgers from locally farm raised beef, flatbreads, sandwiches, entrees, small plates, oysters, salads, soups and more. Focusing on an extensive beer selection, The Scout will feature microbrews and locally crafted beers including 80 different bottles and 20 draught beers for guests to choose from in addition to a unique cocktail menu.
The space will be rustic and warm with over 30 flat screen TVs and will offer seating for approximately 200 people as well as 3 private party areas and two bars. For the warmer months, there will be an expansive outdoor patio. Open for Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week, 365 days a year until 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM on Saturdays, The Scout will also feature DJs on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Scout ownership team includes Managing Partner Chris Bravos (Former Co-Owner of The Pony), George Archos (Owner of Westwood Tavern in Schaumburg and Wildberry Pancakes & Café in Libertyville and Schaumburg) and Jeff Wolff (Contractor and Co-Owner of Wolff-Hager Contracting and Development).
