The Dailey Method® Launches Highly Anticipated DVD

The Dailey Method®, the leading full-body premier barre workout since 2000, announces the launch of their first DVD to be available at on May 9, 2011.  Featuring 30-minute and 60-minute workouts, The Dailey Method DVD offers challenging and effective moves that participants can do at home or on the road when they travel.

The Dailey Method’s hallmark is its proprietary one-hour fitness class which combines ballet barre work, core conditioning, yoga, and orthopedic exercises.  The classes successfully strengthen, tone, and lengthen the entire body while providing quick physical results.  The DVD has been created to do the same.

Effective moves included on the DVD include:

·       Standing seatwork
·       Single-leg lifts
·       Hi/low c-curve
·       Light weight exercises

All exercises:

·       Strengthen and tone the seat, legs, abdominals, arms and back
·       In addition, The Dailey Method focuses on neutral-spine positioning which is the healthiest way to engage and strengthen the body.

“What sets The Dailey Method apart is how we have evolved our method over the past eleven years to make it the best and safest barre workout on the market,” said Jill Dailey McIntosh, founder of the Dailey Method.  “We’ve seen this approach create a high-level of loyalty from our clients, so we hope this DVD serves them when they are traveling.  And there are many people who want to be able to take our class but can’t because they don’t live near one of our studios – now they will be able to try our signature class!”

DVDs are available for the press and will be available to the public at on May 9.
