Koi in Evanston and Chen’s in Wrigleyville celebrate the introduction of their new Peking Duck Bao by offering complimentary samples to all dining guests for an entire month.
From May 15 through June 15, all guests will enjoy a sample of the Peking Duck Bao: a soft, steamed bun filled with traditional roasted duck, green onion, and cucumber in a Su Mei plum sauce. It is normally available for $11.95.
The Peking Duck Bao is part of Koi and Chens’ Chinatown Menu, featuring traditional Chinese plates. Chinatown menu highlights also include a Pork Belly Bao, soft steamed bun filled with lettuce and tender soy-roasted pork belly, $9.95; Shanghai Ponzu Red Snapper, a crispy whole Red Snapper in a black vinegar ponzu sauce, $19.95; and Shanghai Pig Shank, a slow-roasted pig shank in a star anise and peppercorn soy sauce served with Shanghai bok choy, $16.95, limited availability.
