Chef Jackie Shen & Odyssey Cruise Host “Taste on the Lake” Charity Event for Animals

WHAT:  Odyssey Cruises and Chicago Cut Steakhouse’s Jackie Shen are pleased to announce that Odyssey will be the venue for “Taste on the Lake.”  Taste on the Lake is an exclusive fundraising event benefitting Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC), the nonprofit organization that has helped save the lives of the City’s neediest animals for the past 10 years. 

Guests will enjoy an evening on the private deck, skyline views, live music by Susan Russell, “Multini Bar” featuring Kettle One Vodka and delectable food tastings prepared by the following acclaimed Chicago chefs: Chicago Cut’s Jackie Shen, Piccolo Sogno’s Tony Priolo, Coco Pazzo’s Chris Macchia, Lou Malnati’s Jim Freeland and more.  Tickets are $100 and available for advance purchase only; the proceeds will be donated to the FCACC foster care program.

Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) provides food, medical care and adoption opportunities for ACC animals in the foster program, advocates for humane treatment of all animals and educates people about the proper care of their animals.  By working cooperatively with rescues for the past decade, Friends has been part of the movement that has reduced that euthanasia figure to approximately 54%. With the help of generous donors FCACC strives to grow foster program and take even more animals out of the shelter and find forever places for them in the homes and hearts of Chicago families.
