The Pony Hosts Chicago Canine Rescue Fundraiser

Pioneer Tavern Group invites Chicagoans to help support the Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation and attend the second monthly happy hour BARKS FOR BEERS event on Wednesday, June 22 at The Pony located in Lakeview.  Chicago Canine Rescue Barks for Beers will be held every fourth Wednesday of the month at different Pioneer Tavern Group locations including Lottie’s Pub and Frontier.  For a $30 cash donation at the door, guests will enjoy a 3-hour open bar featuring liquor, house wine, domestic draft beer and appetizers as well a complimentary Malibu Black sampling from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and $4 Malibu Black cocktails all evening.  There will also be a raffle for great prizes at 8:00 PM and guests can purchase tickets for $2.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 22 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

COST:  $30 cash donation at the door per person includes 3-hour open bar and appetizers.
               $2 raffle tickets

Pioneer Tavern Group invites Chicagoans to help support the Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation at their first monthly YAPPY HOUR event on Wednesday, May 25 at Frontier located in West Town.  Chicago Canine Rescue Yappy Hours will be held every fourth Wednesday of the month at different Pioneer Tavern Group locations including Frontier, Lottie’s Pub and The Pony.  For a $30 cash donation at the door, guests will enjoy a 3-hour open bar featuring liquor, house wine, domestic draft beer and appetizers including Lollipop Wings, Tall Grass Burger Sliders and White Bean Hummus Platter.  There will also be a raffle forprizes at 8PM and for which guests can purchase $2 tickets.

Texas de Brazil Hosts Chicago Hotel Concierge Association Fundraiser

Texas de Brazil’s Chicago location is proud to host a Chicago Hotel Concierge Association (CHCA) fundraiser to benefit Share Your Soles, the CHCA Assistance Fund, and Les Clefs d’Or 2013 Congress.  Tickets will be discounted $5 with the donation of a pair of gently worn shoes. 

Guests will enjoy beer, wine and complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres while trying their hand at Blackjack and Roulette and bidding on coveted silent auction items.  Admission includes food, beer, wine, soft drinks and casino “funny money”.

Share Your Soles brings thousands of pairs of shoes to desperately impoverished people throughout the world.  The CHCA Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to any hotel concierge suffering from hardships such as illness, involuntary unemployment, or death of an immediate family member.

Carnivale to Host EGBOK Mission

Chicago-Based Charity Summer Fundraiser

Chicagoans are invited to mix and mingle while supporting a great cause as Carnivale hosts EGBOK (Everything’s Gonna Be OK) Mission on Thursday, August 5.  EGBOK Mission is an international non-profit organization that empowers young adults with the educational and vocational training needed to support themselves as hospitality professionals.

The event will feature a silent auction with items including restaurant gift certificates, tickets to the Shedd Aquarium, hotel stays and more.  Carnivale will serve signature hors d’oevres including Shrimp Ceviche Tostaditas, Caramelized Onions and Cabrales Blue Cheese on Toasted Baguettes, Guacamole and Chips as well as beer, wine and sangria.  A cash bar will follow the event.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to current and future EGBOK Mission projects in the U.S. and abroad.  EGBOK Mission founder, Ben Justus, and other volunteers and donors will be in attendance.  Those interested in donating auction items may do so by contacting EGBOK Mission via email at:  info@egbokmission.org.

Meson Benefit, Tapas & Sangria Tasting

On Thursday, May 20, guests can kick off summer on the patio at Meson Sabika with a Tapas and Sangria Tasting benefitting not-for-profit organization, Upendo Village in Kenya.

The Sangria Tasting will feature a selection of flavored Sangria including: peach, pomegranate, mango and apple sparkling sangrias.  As guests enjoy tapas and sangria, women from the Rotary Club of Naperville will be on site showcasing beautiful handcrafted jewelry of the Upendo villagers.  One-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets, earrings, scarves, bags and rosaries will be available for purchase.  Proceeds from this event will help to build a village of love and hope for women and their children living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya.

Meson Sabika’s outdoor area is adorned with flowers throughout the brick patio.  A magnificent magnolia tree shades a portion of the seating for up to 200.  An outdoor bar makes it one of the hottest outdoor spots in the suburbs.  Patio hours are the same as the restaurant.

COST: $20 per person includes samples of sangria and small bites.
100% of the proceeds will go to Upendo Village (Kenya).

Pinstripes Bleu Water, Green Earth Fundraiser

In celebration of Earth Day, Pinstripes Bowling, Bocce and Bistro invites guests to the Bleu Water, Green Earth Eco-Friendly fundraiser on Friday, April 23 at the South Barrington location.  The evening, complete with a fashion show, food, music, raffles and more, kicks off at 7:00 PM.  The fashion show will showcase recycled pieces by designer Micky Bruski, and the Spa Bleu team will provide hair and makeup for the models.  All proceeds from the event will directly benefit The Alliance for The Great Lakes.
