Mike Toomey’s TV & ME with Special Guests WGN-TV’s Ana Belaval at Mayne Stage

Mike Toomey, celebrated stand up comic bringing his popular TV and Me show to Maynstage, and WGN TV’s Ana Belaval will showcase their comedic talent on Saturday, July 24.  Mike Toomey will take guests on a journey back into 60s and 70s TV Land sharing his unique observations about his favorite programs and dead-on impersonations of favorite TV celebrities.  The multimedia presentation features over 300 slides and sound bytes.

Television feature reporter Ana Belaval will show her comedic side with a stand up routine similar to her performances that have brought down the house at Zanies Comedy Club and other spots around town.

About Ana Belaval
Ana Belaval is currently a feature reporter on the WGN Morning News, covering the “Around Town” segment, which focuses on various people, places and things of interest in and around the Chicago area.  Ana also contributes to the public service show for Chicago’s Latino community, “Adelante, Chicago!”  A two-time Emmy winner and four-time Emmy nominee, Ana received awards for her “Living Green” and “One Tank Trips” series.  She was also a finalist for the Peter Lisagor award for the special story, anabelaval.com.  In 2001, Today’s Chicago Woman selected Ana as “A Woman to Watch” for her accomplishments in the media industry. Ana is involved with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s Dancing with Chicago Celebrities created by Arthur Murray Dance Studios.  Ana shows her comedic side when performing her amateur stand up routines at various spots around town including Zanies Comedy Club.  Ana also writes and manages a mommy blog for Chicago Now called, “Aye Mama.”
