Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush Celebrates National Steakhouse Month

Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush invites Chicagoans to enjoy a special 3-course prix fixe menu this June in celebration of the National Steakhouse Month.  The menu will be available at dinner only and highlights will include a Mediterranean Baby Octopus, Calamari and Cuttlefish appetizer, Roasted Petit Filet Mignon entrée and a Pineapple Carpaccio dessert.

Stefani Children’s Foundation Golf Outing

Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants is pleased to announce their participation in Celebrated Chefs Week, March 4 – 13, in support of Children’s Memorial Hospital.

Celebrated Chefs is an exclusive dining program that partners with the area’s top restaurants to raise money for non-profit organizations.  Enrollment is free and members receive a complimentary cookbook featuring recipes from Tuscany, Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush, and Riva Crab House on Navy Pier.

In addition, participants will lend their support to Chicago’s Children’s Memorial Hospital.  Every time they dine with a Phil Stefani Restaurant or any other participating restaurant, 5% of their bill will automatically be donated to Children’s Memorial.

About Cole Porter
Cole Albert Porter (June 9, 1891 – October 15, 1964) was an American composer and songwriter.  His works include the musical comedies Kiss Me, Kate, Fifty Million Frenchmen, DuBarry Was a Lady and Anything Goes, as well as songs like “Night and Day”, “I Get a Kick out of You”, “Well, Did You Evah!” and “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”. He was noted for his sophisticated, bawdy lyrics, clever rhymes and complex forms. Porter was one of the greatest contributors to the Great American Songbook. Cole Porter is one of the few Tin Pan Alley composers to have written both the lyrics and the music for his songs.

Millennium Park will once again become a culinary hotbed as Chicago Gourmet 2010 takes place from Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September 26.  The city’s top restaurants, chefs, sommeliers and experts will take part in the foodie-focused festivities, which will include cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, seminars and much more.

Federico Comacchio, head chef of Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush, will serve his creative Italian cuisine at Chicago Gourmet 2010.  The sophisticated Italian steakhouse will also participate in the Bon Appetit Dine Around showcasing a four-course menu for $55 per person and two martini specials — Lino’s Limoncello Martini with Absolut Vodka, Caravella Limoncello and ginger ale in a sugar-rimmed glass with a lemon wheel; and the French Martini with Grey Goose Vodka, Chambord Raspberry Liqueur and pineapple juice, $10 each.
